Adoptions & Available Litters

At Pocket Pines, litters are planned in advance and bred with intention. Babies remain with their mothers until they are developmentally ready to leave, and all potential adopters will be asked to fill out an application answering basic questions regarding their housing, diet and current ownership situation with rats to ensure a good fit.

Most rats go to adopters who have registered on the wait-list in advance, but in the rare case that some become publicly available, they will be posted here.

All rats receive a dose of moxidectin or selamectin before leaving for their new homes as a preventative measure against lice and mites. This treatment is safe, widely used, and helps ensure your new companions start their lives with you happy, healthy, and itch-free.

I believe in being proactive rather than reactive—especially when it comes to common parasites. This approach minimizes risk while maintaining the comfort and well being of every rat in my care.
