PIneSoul- Hearth
The very first sub-line formed from PineSoul, this group came from a back-cross between Aries and one of his daughters. The children of that pairing became the founders of Hearth, a unique group meant to pass on Aries' exceptional longevity and outgoing personality.
Currently this group is entirely mink and satin based, with background work being done to improve the pearl gene and make it more visible. However temperament as-always is my first priority,
PineSoul- Ember
Ember is the line closest to Pocket. Genetically Ember is an equal cross between Aries and Pocket, and yet despite that Ember has always captured her unique spark.
This line is about the process of taking something fiery and making it soft enough to hold. Ember rats can have bold and decisive personalities.
This line captures Pocket's original rexoid coat in mink, mocha/ havana and pearl
This is also the line where recessive hairless will occasionally pop up!

PineSoul- Rill
The final and possibly most unique sub-line of PineSoul. Rill is a constantly evolving question, as much as it is an answer. Focusing on blue, RED and/ or PED (red eye dilute / pink eye dilute) and black, with a striking odd-eyed look and slender agile bodies.
Due to this narrow and small build, Rill can be a bit less robust than the rest of my lines. Without a strong reserve of fat, they can be sensitive to fluctuations in food supply, and old-age can affect them more. Rill is a specialty line, and not every rat can be available for pet placement.
However many Rill rats are still born with the more traditional bulky body style and do fantastic in pet homes
